VETiS

VET in Schools (VETiS) refers to Vocational (VET) courses that are studied by students in their senior high school years whilst undertaking their Higher School Certificate or equivalent.

VETiS courses are:

• taught at school by teachers who have the relevant industry qualifications or by TAFE
• provide a head start in a career
• may provide workplacement
• provide pathways to further VET study

Students wishing to undertake an HSC VET course should enquire at their school.
